ELEGY Singer Offers Update On New Solo Album

April 11, 2005

ELEGY singer Ian Parry's official web site has been updated with the following message:

"Since Ian's trip to Florida last December, he's decided to add a few more songs as singles to give his solo album a little more of a diverse style and a few great radio songs. Ian has recently co-written additional songs with his CONSORTIUM PROJECT colleague and VANDEN PLAS guitarist Stephan Lill. These new tracks will be recorded and mixed at Bazement studios Germany early April, together with Andreas Lill (drums) and Torsten Reichert (bass guitar),both members of VANDEN PLAS.

"The album is a cross between melodic rock, lite grunge and a number of modern ballads using specially-made drumloops as an added effect. [Says] Ian, 'As rock music has always been my roots, this will be the apparent feel throughout my fourth solo CD.'

"As yet no license deals are [secured], but fingers crossed Ian hopes to have an the indie label license his fourth solo CD for release in September 2005."
